Pamala Wiepking

Prof. Pamala Wiepking holds dual academic roles: Full Professor of Societal Significance of Charitable Lotteries (0.2fte) at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Stead Family Chair in International Philanthropy & Associate Professor at Indiana University's Lilly Family School of Philanthropy (0.8fte). Her research focuses on philanthropy's societal impact, nonprofit effectiveness, and cross-national generosity behavior. She collaborates globally to foster inclusive philanthropy studies.

Research Interests: Philanthropy mechanisms, unrestricted funding effects, household charitable behavior, and global generosity dynamics. She co-edited The Palgrave Handbook of Global Philanthropy and publishes in journals like European Sociological Review and Voluntas.
