Ms Pam Ward is a Clinical Facilitator/Supervisor (Dentist) at the Peninsula Dental School within the Faculty of Health at the University of Plymouth. She holds roles as an Honorary University Fellow, Academic Tutor, and occasional lecturer. Her qualifications include a BDS from the University of Manchester (1970), FFGDP(UK) RCS Eng (2015), MFGDP(UK) (1996), and Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (HEA). She is registered with the General Dental Council (GDC No. 44575) and actively involved in professional bodies such as the BDA and Royal College of Surgeons.

She has pioneered developments in emergency dental treatment and media liaison strategies. Key themes include Enquiry-Based Learning (EBL), clinical governance, and workforce dynamics.
Professional Contributions: She serves as a Specialist Dental Adviser for the Care Quality Commission, member of the Fellowship Development Group at the Royal College of Surgeons, and examiner for MJDF and ORE dental qualifications. She led the NHS Modernisation Agency Field Site project (2002–2005), advancing skill-mix models in dental practices.
