Paloma Jeretic

Dr. Paloma Jeretič is a postdoctoral researcher affiliated with the ERC project Realizing Leibniz’s Dream: Child Languages as a Mirror of the Mind, focusing on semantics, pragmatics, and their interfaces with syntax. Her work employs cross-linguistic investigation, integrating introspective judgments, fieldwork data, and experimental methods to explore scalar implicature, alternatives, negation, and modality.

Her research has been disseminated through presentations at major conferences such as the Japanese Society for Language Sciences (JSLS), Chicago Linguistic Society (CLS58), and the Generative Approaches to Language Acquisition (GALA 2022).
