Paige Little

Associate Professor Paige Little leads the Spine Group at QUT's Centre for Children's Health Research, collaborating with the Queensland Children's Hospital. She holds a Principal Fellow position in Spine Research and specializes in computational modeling for biomedical applications. She is affiliated with the School of Mechanical, Medical and Process Engineering within QUT. Her PhD in Biomedical Engineering (QUT) underpins her expertise in finite element modeling, 3D imaging, and additive manufacturing for spinal biomechanics research.

Research focuses on pediatric spinal deformity treatment through patient-specific solutions, combining advanced imaging (MRI, CT, EOS) with computational models to optimize surgical planning. Key areas include vertebral body tethering outcomes, surface scanning for deformity assessment, and bioresorbable bone scaffold design. She leads interdisciplinary projects involving biomechanics, materials science, and clinical translation.
