Dr. Daniel Sucato is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and an active staff member at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. He specializes in pediatric orthopaedics, with a focus on spinal deformity, hip conditions, and femoroacetabular impingement. His clinical expertise includes thoracoscopic spine approaches and adolescent hip dysplasia treatment using the Ganz periacetabular osteotomy.
Education: Graduated magna cum laude from Canisius College, earned a medical degree and Master of Science in Biophysics from SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine. Completed residencies and fellowships in general surgery, orthopaedics, and basic science research. Served as an International Traveling Fellow for the Scoliosis Research Society in 2003, collaborating globally on spinal research and surgeries.
