Paige Averett is a Professor in the School of Social Work at NC State University, part of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. She leads research initiatives addressing family dynamics, particularly kinship navigation programs for foster care, and has contributed to policies on tobacco regulation and inclusive early childhood education.
