Padmaja Tummala

Dr. Padmaja Tummala is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Australian National University's John Curtin School of Medical Research, specializing in protein chemistry and immunology since 2010. Her work bridges enzymology and therapeutic development, focusing on Glutathione S-Transferases (GSTs) in inflammatory diseases and cancer.

Research Highlights: Padmaja combines protein chemistry with translational medicine to study GST-Omega1 (GSTO1) in:

• Inflammatory disease modulation (colitis, sepsis, fatty liver)
