Pablo Calap Quintana

Pablo Calap Quintana is a Researcher in the Department of Genetics at the University of Valencia, Spain, affiliated with the GEHUMEN research group (Human genetics and disease models).

He earned his Doctorate from the University of Valencia in 2018 under the supervision of Dr. María Dolores Moltó Ruiz and Dr. José Vicente Llorens Llorens. His doctoral thesis, "Modelos de ataxia de friedreich en drosophila identificación de candidatos terapéuticos y caracterización de un modelo portador de las repeticiones gaa", investigated Friedreich's ataxia modeling in Drosophila melanogaster, therapeutic candidate identification, and characterization of GAA repeat expansion models.

His research spans critical areas in genetic disease mechanisms:
