PAULINO DE PAZ CABELLO

Paulino de Paz Cabello is a Professor (Catedrático de Universidad) in the Department of Molecular Biology at the Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences, University of León. He leads research at the ITRA-ULE (Assisted Reproduction Techniques) group, focusing on cellular and developmental mechanisms in biological systems.

Education:
Earned a Ph.D. from the University of León in 1983 with the dissertation: "Análisis estereológico de la diversificación en el embrión del pollo, durante la neurulación estudio de los primeros indicios de regionalización del epitelio neutral" (Stereological analysis of diversification in the chicken embryo during neurulation). Supervised by Dr. José María Villar Lacilla.

Research Focus:
Primary interests include Cell Biology, Assisted Reproduction, and Developmental Biology, with specialized work in embryonic regionalization, neurulation, and stereological techniques applied to avian embryogenesis.
