Patricia Quiroga Uceda is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Educational Studies within the Faculty of Education at Complutense University of Madrid. She holds a Ph.D. in Pedagogy from the same institution (2015) and previously served as a Juan de la Cierva post-doctoral researcher at UNED's Department of History of Education and Comparative Education. Her research focuses on the history of education, theoretical pedagogy, and alternative educational models such as Waldorf education and homeschooling.
Key areas of expertise include the global expansion of Waldorf pedagogy, the role of anthroposophy in educational theory, and comparative studies of educational movements. She has authored/co-authored works analyzing Rudolf Steiner's educational philosophy, the historical reception of Waldorf methods in Spain, and the intersection of modern educational practices with decolonial theory.
Her recent work explores light pedagogy in hypermodern contexts, the homeschooling movement's evolution, and the application of contextual analysis methodologies in educational theory. She is affiliated with the research group CCyPE (Cultura Cívica y Políticas Educativas) and actively contributes to academic discourse through international publications and conferences.
