Pablo Cabezas Saenz is an Assistant Professor at the University of Santiago de Compostela, affiliated with the Faculty of Sciences and the Department of Physiology. He is part of the Strategic Grouping in Sustainable Management and Production of Bioresources (BioReDes) and the ACUIGEN research group focused on genetics for aquaculture and resource conservation.

Research Interests span physiology, genetics, and cancer biology. His work explores tumor growth and metastasis models in zebrafish embryos, emphasizing the role of the microenvironment, alongside sustainable bioresource management through aquaculture genetics.
