PABLO ANGEL MEIRA CARTEA

Pablo Angel Meira Cartea is a Professor at the Department of Pedagogy and Didactics within the Faculty of Education Sciences at the University of Santiago de Compostela. He is affiliated with the Institute for Aquatic Research for Global Health (iARCUS) and contributes to the SEPA-interea research group focused on Social Pedagogy and Environmental Education.

His research centers on the Theory and History of Education, with a particular emphasis on social integration of young people in rural Galicia. His doctoral work (University of Santiago de Compostela, 1992) explored educational, family, and professional perspectives in local contexts.
