P.G. Schrader

Dr. P.G. Schrader is a Professor of Educational Technology in the Department of Teaching and Learning at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). He serves as co-coordinator for doctoral programs in his department and as assessment coordinator for STEM on UNLV's Gear-Up project. Additionally, he is a research scientist at the Center for Research, Evaluation, and Assessment at UNLV.

• Education: PhD in Educational Psychology with a focus on Cognition and Instruction

His research focuses on learning in technology-rich immersive environments, including hypertext, multimedia, and massively multiplayer online games. Current projects explore engagement with scientific simulations, faculty perceptions of STEM students, and personality dynamics in virtual worlds. He has presented his work over 40 times internationally and nationally.

Prior to academia, Dr. Schrader was a professional swimmer ranked among the top 100 backstrokers globally.
