معرفی
Csaba Pál is a Group Leader at the Synthetic and Systems Biology Unit of the Biological Research Centre, Szeged, Hungary since 2008. His research focuses on evolutionary processes, microbial traits, and antibiotic resistance using systems biology approaches. He holds a PhD from Eötvös Loránd University (2002) and has held postdoctoral fellowships at institutions including the University of Oxford and EMBL Heidelberg.
Key awards include the Bolyai Award (2015), ERC Consolidator Grant (2015), and Ignaz Lieben Award (2009). His work bridges experimental evolution and computational systems biology, emphasizing antibiotic resistance mechanisms and collateral sensitivity. He has organized conferences like the 2016 Wellcome Trust Symposium on Evolutionary Systems Biology.
