Oğuzhan KABALCI is a Lecturer at the Department of Traditional Turkish Arts within Neşet Ertaş Faculty of Fine Arts, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, Turkey. He has been serving full-time since 2024 and holds administrative roles such as Head of the Main Art Department and Department Head.

His research focuses on carpets, rugs, weaving, and historical fabric patterns, with particular emphasis on natural dyeing methods, traditional weaving techniques, and archival studies of Ottoman textile practices. His publications analyze regional motifs (e.g., Elazığ Çit, Safranbolu woodcarving) and sustainable approaches to dyeing (pomegranate peel, Sumac-based pigments).
Recent projects include natural dye lightfastness analysis and handloom workshop structuring. Collaborations span institutions like Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, and colleagues such as Hürrem Sinem Şanlı and Aysen Soysaldı. Over 2013-2023, he participated in 24 artistic events, including international juried exhibitions like “Cumhuriyetin 100. Yılı 100. Eser” (2023) and national juried group shows.
