Oğuz Kaya is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Engineering Department at Izmir University of Economics (IUE), where he has served since February 2017 and has been department head since 2019. Previously, he worked as a teaching assistant at IUE (2009-2011) and as a lecturer at Ege University's International Computer Institute (2011-2017).
He earned his B.Sc. in Software Engineering from Izmir University of Economics in 2007, his M.Sc. in Computer Games Technology with distinction from University of Abertay Dundee in 2009, and his Ph.D. in Information Technologies from Ege University's International Computer Institute in 2016.
