Ozlem Kaplan is an Associate Professor at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University, Rafet Kayış Faculty of Engineering, Department of Genetics and Bioengineering. She has built a distinguished academic career with appointments at Istanbul University and Gaziosmanpasa University prior to her current position.
Her educational background includes a Doctorate in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Istanbul University (2022), a Master's in Bioengineering from Gaziosmanpasa University (2016), and a Bachelor's in Bioengineering from the same institution (2014).
Dr. Kaplan's research focuses on the intersection of biotechnology and nanotechnology, with particular expertise in bionanotechnology, drug delivery systems, cancer genetics, recombinant DNA technology, and protein-based nanoparticle systems. Her work bridges fundamental science with practical applications in medicine and biotechnology.
Analysis of her recent publications reveals a strong emphasis on nanoparticle-based drug delivery systems, cancer therapeutics targeting heat shock proteins, green synthesis of metallic nanoparticles, and recombinant protein production.
