Owen Eagan serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Communication Studies at Emerson College and concurrently holds the position of Senior Vice President at Consensus Strategies, a management consulting firm specializing in strategic advocacy for corporate and institutional clients.

Recognized as an industry authority, Eagan served as judge for the American Association of Political Consultants’ Pollie Awards. Author of Palgrave Macmillan’s "Oscar Buzz and the Influence of Word of Mouth on Movie Success" and "So What?: Measuring and Assessing Strategic Communications in Land Use Politics"—the latter acclaimed as a leading business book on political strategy—his work includes consulting on over 100 political campaigns such as Honolulu’s $5 billion rail transit initiative and Everett’s $2.6 billion Wynn Resorts proposal achieving 86.5% voter support.
