Outi Katariina Oja serves as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Finnish Language and Literature within Stockholm University. Her academic journey began at University of Jyväskylä, where she earned both her Doctor of Philosophy (2010) and Master of Arts (2002) degrees.

Oja's research spans multiple interconnected domains. She investigates literary forgeries while developing poetics of self-reflexive poetry through both historical analysis and modern pedagogical approaches. Recent projects include Sweden's national Finnish language revitalization initiative (2022-2024) where she contributes through sub-projects on minority language preservation. Her publications address both theoretical frameworks and practical implementations in literary and educational contexts.
