Oscar Suman

Oscar Suman, PhD, MS, is a Professor in Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery & Rehabilitation at the University of Texas Medical Branch. His research focuses on improving physiological, psychosocial, and functional outcomes in burn survivors through exercise interventions and rehabilitation strategies.

Research interests center on thermal burn rehabilitation, exercise physiology, and long-term recovery mechanisms. Key areas include:
