Oscar P Kuipers is a Professor at the University of Groningen, affiliated with the Faculty of Science and Engineering and the Department of Molecular Genetics. He holds leadership roles as Head of Molecular Genetics and Scientific Director of CeSAM (Center for Sustainable AntiMicrobials). His research focuses on molecular genetics, microbiology, and biotechnology, particularly in antimicrobial peptides, microbial signaling, and genetic engineering.
