Osamu Matsuda is a Professor at the Division of Applied Physics, Faculty of Engineering, Hokkaido University, Japan. He previously served as a Research Associate at Osaka University from 1991 to 1998 and as an Associate Professor at Hokkaido University from 1998 to 2022. His research focuses on ultrafast spectroscopy, acoustic phonon dynamics, and advanced imaging techniques in solid-state physics.
