Oliver Bernard Wright is a Professor at Hokkaido University (Faculty of Engineering, Department of Quantum Physics Engineering) and a Visiting Professor at Osaka University (Graduate School of Engineering, Quantum Measurement & Instrumentation Lab). He is also the Founder and Chief Designer of Plum Science Co., Ltd., developing innovative lighting systems and the glass quality assessment app TestUrGlass.
- Education: BA in Physics (University College, Oxford), PhD in Physics (King's College, Cambridge).
- Research Interests: Focus on ultrafast optics, picosecond acoustic phonon pulses, electron diffusion in metals, phononic crystals, acoustic metamaterials, gigahertz vibrations in nanostructures, and biosensor development.
