Dr. Orvila Sarker is a Lecturer in the School of Computer and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Adelaide, specializing in human-centric computing and cybersecurity. She holds a PhD from the same institution (completed May 2024) and has 5+ years each in teaching and research. Previously, she served as Lecturer/Assistant Professor at Comilla University (Bangladesh, 2014-2019) and as a Research Associate at CREST (Centre for Research on Engineering Software Technologies).

- Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) in cybersecurity tools
- AI/LLM-driven solutions for phishing detection
- Inclusive technology design for neurodiverse populations
- Empirical analysis of software usability issues
