Oriane Mauger

Oriane Mauger is a Research Fellow and Research Group Leader at the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry, leading the RNA Basis of Memory research group. Her work focuses on unraveling the molecular mechanisms of memory, particularly RNA processing's role in memory consolidation and its therapeutic potential for neurological disorders. She employs single molecule imaging and -omics technologies to study RNA regulations in mouse models of anxiety, depression, and sleep deprivation.

Her team includes Postdocs, PhD students, and technicians, with current openings for motivated researchers in neuro- and RNA-biology. The lab aims to develop molecular tools to modulate memory performance and combat memory deficits, positioning RNA regulation at the forefront of translational research.
