Dr. Ori Ossmy is an Associate Professor (Reader) and Head of the Physical Cognition Lab at Birkbeck College, University of London. His research examines physical cognition across development, injury, and rehabilitation using interdisciplinary approaches combining psychology, neuroscience, and computational methods.
Research spans:
- Infant locomotor development and error learning
- Neurorehabilitation using VR-manipulated feedback
- EEG/EMG correlates of motor coordination
- ADHD interventions through embodied gaming
Publication analysis shows strong emphasis on translational research with applications in pediatric healthcare, neurorehabilitation, and educational technology. Methodological innovations include motion tracking, VR environments, and machine learning.
