Dr Ophelia Deroy serves as Deputy Director at the Institute of Philosophy within the University of London's School of Advanced Study. Her research focuses on the philosophy of perception, crossmodal correspondences, synaesthesia, and the intersection of sensory experience with cultural memory and neuroscience. She leads the 'Rethinking the Senses' project (2013–2017), exploring philosophical and neuroscientific perspectives on perception.
