Ophelia Deroy is a Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy, LMU Munich, holding the Chair of Philosophy of Mind and Cognitive Neuroscience at the CVBE (Philosophy of Mind and Neuroscience) department. She is affiliated with the MCN Board, GSN (full member), and GSN Scientific Board. Her research focuses on neurophilosophy, behavioral & cognitive neuroscience, with specializations in multisensory perception, metacognition, and social cognition.
Research Interests include exploring how diverse opinions influence collective intelligence, analyzing metacognition across sensory modalities, and investigating the philosophical implications of AI-human interaction. Her work bridges empirical neuroscience with theoretical philosophy.
