Opeolu O. Ojo

Dr. Opeolu O. Ojo is a Senior Lecturer in Biotechnology at the University of Wolverhampton's Faculty of Science and Engineering, with prior academic roles including Lecturer in Biochemistry at the University of East London and Lecturer in Biotechnology at the Federal University of Technology, Yola, Nigeria. He completed his PhD in Experimental Diabetes at Ulster University and has been a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Diabetes Research at the same institution.

Recent publications highlight his work on peptides like magainin-AM2 and esculentin-2CHa, their impact on glucose homeostasis and cognitive dysfunction, and studies on plant extracts for hepatoprotection and oxidative stress. These span diabetes research, pharmacology, and public health interventions in low-resource settings.
