Onur Ferhanoğlu

Prof. Dr. Onur Ferhanoğlu is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Istanbul Technical University. His research focuses on MEMS, biomedical engineering, optics, and photonics, with applications in laser scanning capsule endoscopy, photoacoustic imaging, and microfluidic sensors.

• Education: PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Koç University (2011), Master's and Bachelor's from Bilkent University (2003, 1999).
• Postdoctoral: University of Texas at Austin (2011-2014).

Research Interests:
He specializes in developing AI-supported CMOS-MEMS platforms for medical imaging, magnetic actuator systems for capsule endoscopy, and optical waveguide sensors for viscosity measurements. His work bridges microsystem technologies with clinical applications.
