Ralf Bauer

Dr. Ralf Bauer is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde, with a focus on miniaturized biomedical imaging systems integrating MEMS and micro-optics. He holds a PhD in MEMS-enabled laser systems (2013) from the University of Strathclyde and a Master of Engineering from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (2010). His research spans MEMS micromirror applications in biomedical imaging, optical MEMS, and trace gas sensors.
