Onur Baş is an Assistant Professor at TED University's Faculty of Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, where he also serves as Acting Head of Department and Vice Dean. He earned his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Middle East Technical University, focusing on implicit discretization of differential equations (M.Sc.) and novel all-speed flow formulations (Ph.D.). Previously, he worked in propulsion systems and aerodynamics at Roketsan Missile Industries Inc. and Turkish Aerospace Inc.
