معرفی
Omer SARITAC is an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University (SMU). He holds a Ph.D. in Management Science and Operations from London Business School (2018–2024) and advanced degrees in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University, including an M.S. (2015–2017) and B.S. (2011–2015).
His research focuses on modern operational challenges in digital platforms, particularly in the gig economy, algorithmic pricing, and data-driven decision-making. His work bridges operations research, economics, and machine learning to optimize dynamic matching and pricing systems.

His recent publications analyze centralized versus decentralized pricing in dynamic platforms, stochastic matching under time constraints, and contextual influence maximization with costly observations. These works reflect a strong trend in applying online learning and optimization techniques to real-world platform operations, particularly in two-sided markets and networked systems.
Omer SARITAC actively contributes to leading conferences such as the ACM Conference on Economics and Computation (EC) and journals like Operations Research and IEEE Transactions on Signal and Information Processing over Networks.
He is supported by computational research tools and has shared simulation code on GitHub, demonstrating a transparent and reproducible research approach. His technical implementations use Mathematica, Python, and R, indicating strong computational and analytical capabilities.
Omer SARITAC advises no listed students yet and has no public scientific awards mentioned. However, his early-career research output is robust and positioned at the intersection of operations, algorithms, and digital platforms.
