Dr. Ombretta Romice is a Reader in Architecture at the University of Strathclyde, specializing in urban design, environmental psychology, and sustainable urban development. Her work examines relationships between urban form, community wellbeing, and resilience through morphometric analysis and participatory approaches. She serves on the Glasgow Urban Design Panel and previously presided over the International Association for People Environment Studies.
Her publications advance quantitative urban morphology methodologies applicable to heritage conservation, climate adaptation, and spatial justice. Current projects investigate density perception frameworks and sustainable development goal implementation through urban design.
