Omar Mansaray serves as a Senior Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing at Kingston University within the School of Nursing, Allied and Public Health and the Department of Public Health and Children's, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health Nursing. With over two decades of clinical and management experience across acute inpatient and community mental health services, he provides care for adult patients, children, and adolescents while specializing in deaf mental health through British Sign Language proficiency.

Research Interests: Mr. Mansaray focuses on child and adolescent mental health, social justice initiatives to dismantle barriers in healthcare/academia, and ethnically diverse students' academic experiences through his doctoral research. His expertise integrates British Sign Language applications in mental health services and psychotherapeutic models including CBT, DBT, and MBT for holistic patient care.
Publications: His scholarly output centers on nursing ethics and professional standards, exemplified by the 2019 book chapter 'Professional values' in 'Essentials of nursing adults'. This work examines ethical frameworks in adult nursing practice with emphasis on cultural competence and value-based care delivery across diverse clinical settings.
