Oluwagbemi Olugbenga

Dr. Oluwagbemi Olugbenga is a Senior Lecturer (equivalent to Associate Professor in the US) in Computer Science at Middlesex University, UK. He holds a UK Royal Society Global Talent endorsement and is a C2 NRF-rated researcher in South Africa. His roles include teaching Blockchain Technology, Computer Networks, and co-teaching Data Science ethics and security modules.

Research Interests: Focuses on AI-driven health solutions, computational genomics, climate change impact modeling on diseases, and applied machine learning. He develops health informatics software and mobile applications for disease management.

Grants & Fellowships: Secured an AREF Grant for a Postdoctoral Fellow at Middlesex University, and held multiple prestigious postdoctoral fellowships including NRF Innovation, DAAD/Oppenheimer, and AfOx Visiting Researcher positions.
