Olugbenga Alebiosu

Dr. Olugbenga Alebiosu is a post-doctoral fellow at CNRS and member of the Montpellier Institute of Evolutionary Sciences (ISEM), affiliated with the University of Montpellier. His research spans paleoecology, aerobiology, and palynology, focusing on reconstructing vegetation dynamics during the Pleistocene-Holocene transition in Central Africa and analyzing pollen allergenicity to inform public health.

His work utilizes palynological archives to study climate-driven ecosystem changes and human impacts over the last 20,000 years, particularly in Nigeria. He also investigates atmospheric pollen distribution to create localized pollen calendars for allergy mitigation, bridging environmental science and occupational health.
