معرفی
Dr. Olt E. Geiculescu is a Senior Lecturer and Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Clemson University’s College of Science. He holds dual Ph.D.s in Chemical Engineering (University Politehnica Bucharest, 2000) and Chemistry (Clemson University, 2004), along with M.S. degrees in Chemical Technology (1981) and Chemical Engineering (2006). His research focuses on advanced electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries, including fluorinated materials and deep eutectic systems, as well as synthetic fuels and catalytic processes. He has contributed to over 20 peer-reviewed publications and seven patents, notably on electrolyte formulations for energy storage systems. Dr. Geiculescu teaches undergraduate chemistry courses (CH1010–CH1060, CH3130) and general engineering classes at Clemson Technical College. His industrial experience includes roles at Romania’s Petrochemical Plant Brazi and ZECASIN S.A., where he developed Fischer-Tropsch processes for hydrocarbon synthesis. He has collaborated with GM, Michelin, and Whirlpool on battery technology advancements.
