Cristina IOJOIU is a Researcher at CNRS (DR2) and affiliated with the LEPMI (Grenoble INP). Her research focuses on polymer electrolytes for energy storage systems, including fuel cells, lithium batteries, and dye-sensitized solar cells. She specializes in materials synthesis, physicochemical characterization, and electrochemical analysis to optimize electrolyte performance through structure-property relationships.
Scientific Production: 75 peer-reviewed publications, 14 patents, 19 invited conferences, and over 100 communications. Supervision includes 18 doctoral theses (12 defended), 10 Master’s students, and 4 postdocs. Key research areas include ionic liquids, ionomers, functional polymers, and advanced membrane technologies for energy systems.
Her work emphasizes sustainable energy solutions, alternative battery chemistries, and fluorinated materials for improved electrochemical stability. Recent studies explore calcium batteries, anion-exchange membranes, and single-ion conductors for safer, higher-performing energy storage devices.
Her contributions span solid-state batteries, redox flow batteries, and electrochemical interfaces, with a focus on interdisciplinary applications in materials science and engineering.
