Olmo van den Akker is a Researcher at Tilburg University's Department of Methodology and Statistics within the TS Social and Behavioral Sciences school. He holds a PhD in Psychology and has a Master's in Behavioral Economics and Game Theory from the University of Amsterdam. His research focuses on meta-research, preregistration practices, statistical inference accuracy, and the replication crisis in psychology. He co-coordinates the 'Construction and Analysis of Questionnaires' course and has contributed to teaching techniques of causal analysis.
