Olivier Curty

Olivier Curty is Professor of Ancient History at the University of Fribourg's Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences, Department of History. He completed his doctorate (1987) at the same institution with a thesis on legendary relationships between Greek cities, supervised by Philippe Gauthier. Despite health challenges including wheelchair use and dysarthria following brain surgery, he maintains an active research profile.
