Olivia Petrides

Olivia Petrides is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) since 1985, specializing in painting and scientific illustration. She teaches courses such as Studio Draw:Landscape Painting and Drawing and Natural History Illustration, emphasizing observational skills and anatomical accuracy through fieldwork at institutions like the Lincoln Park Zoo and Field Museum. Her work bridges art and science, focusing on botanical and zoological subjects.
