Oliver Hiob-Bansal is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at the University of Connecticut. He serves as the Coordinator for Second Language Writing and teaches courses related to language instruction, law and literature, and German-Jewish literary traditions from the early 20th century. His office is located in Austin 127 on the Storrs campus, and he holds office hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30-2:30pm, with appointments available outside these times.

Research Interests:
Oliver focuses on pedagogical approaches to second language writing, interdisciplinary connections between legal frameworks and literary texts, and the cultural-historical significance of German-Jewish literature in the early 20th century. His work bridges linguistic education, critical analysis of legal narratives, and the preservation of marginalized literary traditions.
