Professor Oli Mould is a scholar of urban geography in the Department of Social, Cultural and Historical Geography at Royal Holloway, University of London. He directs research on urban creativity, activism, and politics through critical theoretical frameworks.
His current work examines mutual aid networks, community fridges, and grassroots responses to crises, exploring how alternative urban futures emerge through everyday acts of solidarity. This research contributes to the Royal Holloway Centre for the GeoHumanities' focus on creative spatial practices.
Professor Mould leads projects on pandemic mutual aid and community care models. His publications critically engage with planetary urbanization, hope studies, and the spatial politics of cultural theory. He is a contributor to the collaborative research project 'An Oral History of the Environmental Movement, 1970-2020'.
