Olga Walsh is an Associate Professor in Small Grains Research and Extension at the School of Plant and Environmental Sciences, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech). Her role emphasizes both Extension (70%) and Research (30%), focusing on corn, small grains, and alternative grain and silage crops to enhance agricultural productivity, sustainability, and economic value. She collaborates extensively with Virginia Cooperative Extension Agents, Agricultural Research Extension Centers, and stakeholder groups such as the Virginia Grain Producers Association.
