Olga Touloumi

Olga Touloumi is a Lecturer in architectural history and theory at Bard College, USA. Her research explores intersections of architecture, media, and governance, focusing on the design of international institutions during the early 20th century, particularly through acoustic spaces like war rooms, courtrooms, and assembly halls. She holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University and an M.Sc. from MIT, reflecting her interdisciplinary expertise in architecture and design.

Her collaborative project Sound Modernities: Architecture, Media, and Design with Sabine von Fischer at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science (MPIWG) highlights her engagement with transnational histories of science and technology.
