Olga Chatzifoti is a PhD candidate in Human-Computer Interaction at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She holds an MSc in Serious Games & Virtual Reality (Glasgow School of Art) and prior degrees in Architecture and Geoinformatics (NTUA). Her research focuses on cognitive and affective impacts of voice-based interactions in immersive environments, with teaching contributions in postgraduate Interactive Systems courses. She has collaborated on EU-funded projects like SECRIOUS (cybersecurity education through games) and VoxReality (AR Theatre), and co-founded the non-profit Otter Space XR to promote XR for social impact.

Her research interests span immersive technologies, game-based learning, cybersecurity education, and cultural heritage preservation. Current projects include investigating voice interaction in VR and advancing AR/VR for social change.
Olga’s work bridges academia and industry through collaborations with institutions like Stanford’s C-Brain Lab and Cyprus Institute, as well as companies like Gruppo Maggioli. She actively mentors Greek developers in Unity-based interactive applications.
