Oleksandra Mittal is a researcher affiliated with the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of Oslo, working as part of the Large-scale Educational Assessment (LEA) research group. She holds an M.Sc. in Educational Research from the University of Gothenburg (2019) and an M.A. in Language and Literature Education from Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University (2010). Her PhD project investigates educational equity in Nordic countries using ILSA data, focusing on socioeconomic status (SES) measurement validity, mediating mechanisms between SES and learning outcomes, and policies for ethnically diverse student populations.
