Olalla Garcia Taibo

Dr. Olalla Garcia Taibo is an Assistant Professor at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), affiliated with the Department of Pedagogy and Specific Didactics within the Faculty of Physical and Sports Education. Since 2011, she has been teaching at the university level and is accredited as a Full Professor by ANECA. Her work spans undergraduate and master's programs, with a strong focus on physical education pedagogy, sustainable development, and body expression teaching.

Education:

Research Interests:

Her research is centered on Physical Education Pedagogy, Pedagogical Models, and Sustainable Development in Education. She explores how physical education can be used as a vehicle for promoting sustainable lifestyles and how innovative pedagogical strategies can enhance learning outcomes in both school and university settings.

Scientific Contributions:

Dr. Garcia Taibo has published 28 scientific articles in indexed journals, authored 17 book chapters, and contributed to 1 book. Her work has been recognized with a six-year research period accreditation (2015–2022) and she has led two pre-competitive research projects.
