Ola Animashawun is a Visiting Professor of Dramaturgy at the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences, University of Greenwich. He brings over 30 years of theatre experience, specializing in script development as a dramaturg and facilitator. As a National Theatre Associate and co-founder of Euphoric Ink, he previously served as Associate Director at the Royal Court Theatre for 23 years, where he established the Young Writers Programme and Critical Mass initiative.
His expertise spans acting, directing, devising, writing, and presenting. Animashawun holds positions as Associate Artist and Mentor for multiple theatres and is recognized as a patron of Graeae Theatre and Script Yorkshire.
